Eszomax-20 tablets have been formulated with esomeprazole that has effectiveness to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a rare condition in which one or more tumors form in your pancreas or the upper part of your small intestine (duodenum). These tumors, called gastrinomas, secrete large amounts of the hormone gastrin, which causes your stomach to produce too much acid. In addition, Eszomax-20 also treats erosive esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and gastric ulcers. It can even be used with antibiotics (such as amoxicillin and clarithromycin) to treat stomach ulcers and irritability caused by the H. pylori bacteria as well as in those who have been using NSAIDs (like aspirin and ibuprofen) for extended periods of time.
