Fabuish 80, the febuxostat tablets, are used to prevent and treat gout. Gout is caused by a buildup of uric acid in the body. When the amount rises too high, crystals could develop in and around the kidneys and some joints. This may result in swelling, redness, warmth, and abrupt, acute pain. This medication works by lowering blood uric acid levels and avoiding the formation of crystals. This lowers the risk of developing the symptoms and makes them less severe if you do. It should be taken consistently until the dose is finished because it is often for long-term treatment.
